Started in 2004 with the production of a single vineyard Cabernet from Mounts Vineyard, Kokomo Winery focuses on single vineyard wines that show a distinct terroir. We believe that our small production techniques and relationships with growers allow us to make wines that are individual and unique as the vineyards they were born from. We think you should drink local and think global and we are proud to support causes we believe in located in Sonoma County, like the annual Harmony Festival, Art for Life, KRCB, Food for Thought and the annual Mayacama Celebrity Golf Tournament, just to name a few. In January 2008, we celebrated the opening of our brand new winery at Timber Crest Farms in Dry Creek Valley. Visitors to our winery will enjoy a unique wine tasting experience - we have incorporated the tasting room into our cellar. We are located on a beautiful 120 acre vineyard on the Dry Creek East Bench, and our estate fruit consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Primitivo, Muscat Blanc, and Sauvignon Read more »

  • Kokomo Pinot Noir Russian River Valley Windsor Oaks Vineyard 2007

    Snoothrank:

This wine was a Christmas gift from a friend. I LOVED it! I served it with an assorment of cheeses, nuts, cold cuts and smoked salmon. The interesting thing about this wine was it didn't taste at all how it looked. I saw the light pinkish color and expected a much lighter taste but instead it was was a rich, fruity and slightly spicy Pinot! It w... Read More

  • Kokomo Syrah Dry Creek Valley Green Pastures 2006

    Snoothrank:

Aromatic and intense with mineral and cracker pepper notes vying for attention at first. The fruit is dark and deep and a touch roasted with backing wood sweetness and spice. On entry, this starts off deceptively matte but then really explodes on the palate with flavors that seem to belong to a richer, heavier wine. Its not a meek wine by any st... Read More

  • Kokomo Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley Timber Crest 2007

    Snoothrank:

This is a Zinfandel that reminds you of why you love them. Big and full, with a multi-faceted flavor profile featuring ripe, briary blackberry fruit with strong traces of black cherry liqueur, Cassis, Grand Marnier, and red licorice. Wonderfully balanced and long, with the alcohol buried under layers of fruit. For all its richness, it's not top-... Read More
