Brancott Estate wines honour our original Marlborough home - Brancott Vineyard.

It's now more than 30 years since we introduced the world to a wine style unlike anything experienced before. We were the first to plant and create the world’s first Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc wine – a style that has since changed the course of New Zealand's wine industry.

While Marlborough is our home, we also craft wines from other renowned winegrowing regions of New Zealand – wines that continue to be judged among the best in shows the world over, and most importantly - by wine lovers such as yourself.

  • Brancott Pinot Noir 2010

Light bodied and in color. Soft and round mouth feel. Strawberry beginnings with a slightly unbalanced acidity that mellows as the taste progresses. Slight cherry finish. Decent value. Read More

  • Brancott Estate Living Land Chardonnay New Zealand Marlborough 2009

This is gently fruity on the nose with soft apple and pineapple aromas. In the mouth, this offers a very easygoing nature that exhibits fine balance and nice tension. The fruit remains in the apple/pineapple range and while this is bright and fresh, there is a gentle creaminess rounding out the mouth feel and leading to an apple/cream note on th... Read More

  • You’ve probably tried a few New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs and maybe even dabbled in the occasional Pinot Noir, but have you taken a look at their Chardonnays? If you haven’t, you really need to. I should probably rephrase that. If you enjoy a leaner, crisper style of Chardonnay that manages to be ripe yet firm with vivid clarity, then it’s time f... Read More

  • Brancott Vineyards Pinot Gris 2010

Citrus and mineral hints somewhat overpowered by lingering sweetness. Refreshing and not subtle. Easy to drink but hard to pull out real flavors off the palate. Read More

  • Brancott Pinot Noir 2009

A savoury nose leads into savoury cherry fruit in the mouth, well balanced. There's a hint of freshness to lighten up that savouriness and the whole sensation is silky smooth. It ends with good length making this great value for the £7.59 I paid for it at Waitrose in the UK. Read More

  • Brancott Estate Living Land Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand Marlborough 2010

Water like color to the pour. Very light and crisp. Hints of slight citrus hide behind a very mineral-like aroma. Taste of fine minerals that dissipate with time and turn more into a fruity, citrus phase, finally ending with a dry, satisfying finish. Excellent Sauvignon Blanc at this price range. I would highly recommend trying it. Read More

Mellow, lemon pear flavor on the palate without much acidity showing. Very subdued, with a quiet but persistent finish. Read More

  • Brancott Pinot Noir 2010

The nose showed blueberry and cherry with spicy vanilla and hints of undergrowth. On the palate, it was tight and focused with black cherry, spices and stems, leading to a finish with bright, tart red fruit. The texture was smooth yet with a stern acidic backbone, which detracted slightly from my overall impression of the wine. Read More

  • Brancott Estate Living Land Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand Marlborough 2010

The nose showed chalky minerals, grapefruit, stone, cat pee and citrus. On the palate, I found sweet apple fruit with mineral, citrus and herbs. The acid balance of this wine was very stern, at first, but opened up nicely over the course of an hour. The finish was long and mouth-watering with grapefruit and lemon pith lingering for half a minute. Read More
