How to Choose a Business Lawyer or a Fully Qualified lawyer?

Only with this degree can one obtain the qualification to hold office as a judge and work as a lawyer for academic misconduct, public prosecutor, or notary. Only persons with this qualification may practice freelance legal advice and represent their clients in court. Companies either rely on representation by law firms or hire an in-house lawyer. They are also employees of the company and a licensed lawyer.

An exception to this restriction is the representation of the company in proceedings without the need for a lawyer. This can be the case, for example, before local, administrative, labor, social and financial courts. In this case, companies can authorize their commercial lawyers and represent them in court.

In practice, however, companies usually fall back on lawyers at this point since graduates of the classic law degree are often better versed in the details of a process. At this point, the lawyer for academic misconduct tends to be the background’s tacticians.

This is because commercial lawyers, thanks to their wide-ranging knowledge, can survey both the legal horizon and the company’s interests simultaneously. Creating links between law and economics makes commercial lawyers a vital interface and valuable for companies.

But how Exactly does one become a Lawyer for Academic Misconduct?

The training to become an academic lawyer for misconduct is always theoretical at a technical college or university. The course is comparatively young. It was only brought into being as the demand for legal experts with economic knowledge was increasing.

It was initially a diploma course. This course was transferred to the Bachelor’s and Master’s system, so the diploma course is no longer offered in this form. The courses are called Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) and are offered at many universities.

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)

The Bachelor of Laws is designed for a standard study period of 6 to 8 semesters. The course is usually divided into primary and specialization studies. Therefore, after the specified subjects, the student has the opportunity to express his interests in the form of compulsory elective subjects.

Requirements for completing the LL.B. are completing a practical semester or more extended internship at most universities. Here the student receives a tried and tested means of trying things out in practice and possibly even convincing an employer of himself for the time after graduation.

A common alternative to the practical semester is to go through a semester abroad.

Master of Laws (LL.M.)

The Master of Laws (LL.M.) is the consecutive postgraduate course of the LL.B. Here, the knowledge already acquired by the students is taken up and deepened. The standard period of study for the LL.M. is between 2 and 5 semesters. This course is often completed partly or entirely by students abroad.

On the one hand, stays abroad are very welcome in applicants ‘ CVs. Transnational companies, in particular, attach great importance to the fact that their employees have gained experience in other cultures and legal systems.  Internationally oriented companies often only hire candidates fluent in at least two languages.
