Stephen Vincent is a brand that was established in Northern California in 2001 by Stephen Vincent Situm, Robert Goyette and Hossein Namdar. All three men are experienced winemakers, vineyard owners, managers and wine marketers. The wines are produced from grapes grown in their own Lake County and Sonoma Coast properties, as well as other North and Central Coast locations. The aim is to produce high quality wines at approachable price points. There is no physical tasting room, but the wines are available directly from the vineyard via mailing list and various retail outlets.

  • Stephen Vincent Cab 2007

    Snoothrank:

Nose opens to caramel and spice. Over several hours, aromas shift to dominant cherry, then to prune, then to tobacco. Hints of leather, pepper, and Old Spice cologne intermingle. The palate launches with red & dark fruits, including tart cherry and stewed prunes, followed by caramel and oak. A smooth, satisfying finish carries a juicy array o... Read More

  • Hey all. I'm a wine reviewer, and I just launched an article on some pretty great Rhone blends from Calcareous Vineyards, out of Paso Robles. Plus, I'm going to be attending a Rhone Rangers tasting in a couple of days, so I've got the region on my mind. What are some of your favorite Rhone grapes, regions (New or Old World), and producers? This ... Read More

  • Stephen Vincent Cab 2007

    Snoothrank:

If you are looking for a complex, dark, rich wine...this may not be your best bet. Very dry on the palate, followed by a fruity lightness. Interesting combination, but a little light on the finish. That said, for less than 10 a bottle, this makes a for a pretty good value and real good "table wine". Read More
