Castello del Poggio
Castello del Poggio is just that - a castle. With a history dating back to medieval times, the history of the winery is not as simple as a date and time of inception. The latest change in management, however, came in 1985, when the Zonin family acquired the property and eventually reunited the different territories and vineyards within the area. The property has almost 450 acres of land, with about 400 of that under vine. Thanks to the hard work of Corrado Surano, winemaker and manager of Castello del Poggio, the winery currently produces over 400,000 bottles of wine annually.
