Lots of floral notes on the nose, sweet berries, chocolate, currant, vanilla, and caramel. Sweet on the tongue, lots of berries, semi-sweet chocolate, coffee and caramel with a bit of licorice. I am curious to try this with some spicy food as I think the firm tannins, balanced acidity and caramelize flavors will stand up well to the challenge. Lamb Curry anyone? wait wait, just tried it with semi-sweet dark chocolate and a volcano of berries is erupting in my mouth. Delicioso!
