Yarra Track is a family owned and operated boutique winery, located in the Yarra Valley and established in 1989 by Jim and Diana Viggers and family. The vineyard is planted on northerly facing slopes overlooking the Great Dividing Range. We specialise in producing small quantities of handcrafted wines of the cool climate wine grape varieties most suited to the Yarra Valley, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Yarra Track wines are produced from premium estate grown fruit from Viggers Vineyard, in the picturesque Yarra Valley region of southern Victoria. The property lies on the original route to the goldfields of the Central Highlands, known as the “Yarra Track”. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines were first produced under the Yarra Track label in 1997 and since then, there has been growing appreciation of these elegant and distinctive Yarra Valley wines. Grapes from Viggers Vineyard are grown with a passion,to produce wines that proudly reflect the Yarra Valley as a world-class wine producing region. In the vineyard you see the unbeatable combination of northerly aspect, pursuit of low yields and selective hand picking.
