Since its inception in 1988, Yarra Ridge has become the most successful vineyard in the Yarra Valley. Yarra Ridge was the brainchild of a lawyer, Louis Bialkower, who bought the land in 1982. The 1992 Chardonnay was judged Best Premium Chardonnay at Australia’s National Wine Show in Canberra. Plus, I'm going to be attending a Rhone Rangers tasting in a couple of days, so I've got the region on my mind. What are some of your favorite Rhone grapes, regions (New or Old World), and producers?
