Literally smells like fresh fruit, lightly of cloves and vanilla, but almost no oak. I was surprised at the jammy flavor and medium mouth-feel. Decent wine for the price, light lunch, or picnic. Read More

I am 75 + and a home brewer of mostly beer. I am very impressed with Winking Owl wines I purchase at the local Aldi's market. I have been given expensive wines from friends but none are smooth as Winking Owl.

The winking owl White Zinfandel is the best i've tasted in a very long time. Full-bodied taste that's light. Goes great with salads, spicy foods, Latin and Chinese cuisine .

I just tried it for the first time. I am used to decent red wines like Robert Mondavi, Kendall Jackson, usually ordered out for $10.00-$15.00 a glass. This has a wonderful oak flavor and is really nice and the price is fantastic at $2.69! Would buy again! Very Pleased:) Read More

My husband and I love wine and just recently started going to the Aldi's store in our area. We just happened to see this wine and thought for the low price we could not afford to "not" try it and we were very pleasantly surprised. We both would describe it as full bodied will have it with our steak dinner tonight! We will definitely buy this again. Read More

I think that Winking Owl wine is very good. You can not get a better wine for the price. Dalton Georgia just opened a new Aldi's and I was very happy about that.

This was my college wine.Aldi's was my savior back then.It was oaky, fruity, reasonably good for drinking, and because of the price it also made a great cooking wine. Especially with ridiculously discounted portabella mushrooms my roommate and I managed to find also at Aldi's. Read More
