Winking Owl is a value-priced brand of wines produced in California. It’s a private label of Aldi supermarket chain (originally based in Germany, now scattered throughout the US). Yes. I have a question. First I like Winking Owl Merlot and White Zinfandel. I just want to know what the percentage of alcohol is. It is not stated on any of the bottles. Please email me the answer at email@example.com Thanks

Brought (smuggled!) 7 bottles of Pinot Grigiot back to Canada from Florida. A wine of this quality would cost at least 4 times the almost $3 I paid. Not a connoisseur, but I know what I like..............and I like this. :)

I'm enjoying Winking Owl Chardonnay right now. Taste is very good for a sub-$5 wine. Lots of fruit flavors with hint of wood barrel vintage. I am a "two buck chuck" fan and think Winking Owl Chardonnay is better. It also rivals Woodbridge Chardonnay.Thanks. merry Christmas and God Bless. JMC

I just tried it for the first time. I am used to decent red wines like Robert Mondavi, Kendall Jackson, usually ordered out for $10.00-$15.00 a glass. This has a wonderful oak flavor and is really nice and the price is fantastic at $2.69! Would buy again! Very Pleased:) Read More
My husband and I love wine and just recently started going to the Aldi's store in our area. We just happened to see this wine and thought for the low price we could not afford to "not" try it and we were very pleasantly surprised. We both would describe it as full bodied will have it with our steak dinner tonight! We will definitely buy this again. Read More
