We opened the 05 Williamson Cuvee' for Valentine's Day. The nose was initially light, but after aerating the oak came out balanced with the tannins. This wine is loaded with blueberries, coffee, tobacco, and some bacon. Well balanced and great acid. I just wish we were drinking this wine with grilled rib eyes. Sometimes it's true: you get what you pay for. In this case the silky smooth Shiraz is worth every penny...if you love Shiraz.
