Wijngaard De Linie

In the small Dutch village of Made wine growing has taken place at vineyard "De Linie" since 1977. Only the best grape varieties from the French Alsaces are used including Riesling, Gewuerztraminer, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. Wine from vineyard “De Linie” is a royal wine due to the presence of the King of red grapes: the Pinot Noir, and the Queen of white grapes: the Riesling. Both present in our cuvee wine. About 90% of the Pinot Noir are used as a source for white wine giving it a slightly darker color. Our vineyard is located south of the village, sheltered from colder winds from the north. All work is done according to traditional methods way and with great craftmanship. We work 100% environmentally friendly. No synthetic herbicides or insecticides are used to protect the grapes. we do not use excessive amounts of chemical fertilizers, nor do we produce lots of waste. On the contrary, all pruned bushes are shredded and residues of the produced wine (grape pulp) are scattered back in the vineyard. – Description from Alejandro    (hide)
