Description 1 of 2

Our Wine and Champagne Estate F.B. Schoenleber goes back 200 years. As of today, the vineyards extend over 9 hectares of land. This area covers 90.000 square meters of valuable land situated in the best locations of the Rheingau region which is famous for growing superb wines. The estate is operated by Bernd and Ralf Schoenleber. We are the sons of the former owners, Franz and Katharina Schoenleber. My brother and I both received a degree as masters of viniculture and viniculture technician, respectively. We were fully integrated into the wine business of our parents upon completion of our studies. In 1990, we also started with our own production of high-quality champagne. Starting with the vineyards , we make sure that our grapes grow in an environmentally friendly surrounding so that they can mature to their best potential. In order to attain the highest standard of quality in our wines, we follow a special procedure. We already begin to prune the vines in the wintertime. The purpose of pruning the vines is to allow the grapes to grow and mature to a higher quality in the fall. The result is a smaller yield of grapes but of much better quality as a finished wine. All our vineyards are organically grown. Only when fully ripe will our grapes be harvested. This means, they will have reached their full aroma. – Description from milana
