Warwick wine estate was known as the farm ‘Good Success’ from 1791 until 1902. After the Anglo Boer war, Colonel Alexander Gordon from Warwickshire regiment bought the farm and renamed it ‘Warwick’ as a tribute to his regiment.

Excellent fruit driven wine. Full body.
Sadly, this lovely creature appears to be on the downward slope. The fruit is disappearing, the color is brown well into the glass (no longer just on the rim) and mocha and dusty aromatics are becoming more prevalent....
That Warwick ROCKS. Old vine fruit, second and third year barrique which just accentuates the spice, one of my favorites!

Good acidity, with a lot of leather on nose. A very mineral wine, tempered by some cherry notes. Its South African, so dont forget the mint! Liked it overall.
