Voyager Estate is located in the premium wine producing region of Margaret River, Western Australia. Latest statistics show that, although only producing 4% of Australia's wine by volume, Margaret River wines account for 23% of the country's premium wine production. Voyager Estate is proud to be among the select wineries that contribute to this production. Our oldest vines date back to 1978, just over 10 years after vines were first planted in the area. When current owner, Michael Wright, took over the property in 1991, he set out to expand it and develop a visitor destination that would be a showcase for the region. He also set out to ensure that, above all else, the quality of wine being made at Voyager Estate would always be the best that nature, expertise and pure hard work could provide. We leave it for wine lovers and our visitors to judge for themselves. – Description from JelaDragoljevic

  • So, I am beginning to write a series of emails that you can vote on. Problem is, I'll need your help to make the lists. I figured I would start simply, and make a list of the top 5 red wines in the world. I'm not talking specifics, but rather geeral categories, and eventuallywe can start naming our favorite specific wines i each category. So I'm... Read More

  • I am considering buying a wine from the year of my son's birth (2007) and aging it to open with him when his first child is born, so say 25-30 years if all goes according to plan. (A gamble with any child, I know).I only have learned a modest amount about wine appreciation, enough to know I'd make a mistake selecting just any bottle and expectin... Read More

  • Had one of those once in a lifetime days betting the ponies today.  With the winnings, i'm probably going to be budgeting up to $1500.00 on some more expensive wines I haven't been able to afford in the $80-$200 range.  Any suggestions?  I favor a right-bank bordeaux style for reds but also enjoy a medium bodied cabernet style, along with rhone ...
