  • Justino Henriques Malmsey 1933

  • Justino Henriques Madeira Sercial 1940

    Snoothrank:

Funky old barrel notes on the nose then turning very medicinal. Very caramelly and walnutty in the mouth with a spicy consomme tone. Sweet yet flat with prune, licorice, and dark pudding tones on both the palate and the nose. Not clumsy but so inelegant. 88pts Read More

  • Justino Henriques Malmsey 1933

    Snoothrank:

Tight and minty on the nose with the small of old parchment bound books. This really gains clarity as it turns bright and precise on the nose with a touch of blackberry jam that plays off darker coffee tones. Lean and bright in the mouth with a fresh fruit profile but lacking a bit of flesh ont he finish. Good length, decent length. 91pts Read More
