Time hasn’t gone by in vain at Viña Requingua. Ever since owner Santiago Achurra and his family arrived back in 1961, Viña Requingua has been on an ongoing mission to improve its standards. Viña Requingua’s perseverance has definitely paid off. With award winning wines and sales in over a dozen countries, Viña Requingua’s passion for wine has grown. One look at Viña Requingua’s spacious vineyards, large-capacity winery and state-of-the-art bottling facilities, makes any customer confident in our ability to produce quality wines. Nestled in the middle of the Curico Valley, the Viña Requingua Estate encompasses over 1000 hectares, of these, 450 hectares (1111 acres) contain grapevines with several varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenere, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, semillon, cabernet frank and Chardonnay. Today, after many years in the trade, Viña Requingua has maintained the humbleness which so many other wineries have lost. On any given day any customer can show up on our Estate and receive the very best treatment from Santiago Achurra himself.
