Viña La Rosa aims to produce wines of remarkable value in each price range that it offers. All its wines are estate grown and estate bottled which gives the winery full vineyard control and ensures quality in every part of the winemaking process. Viña La Rosa markets its brands worldwide, exporting 95% of its production to over 30 countries. Founded in 1824, Viña La Rosa is one of the oldest wineries in Chile. It has been owned and operated for six generations by the Ossa family. It is located in the Cachapoal Valley with a total of 864.1 hectares (2,135.2 acres) planted to vineyards on three estates: • La Rosa - Peumo • La Palmería de Cocalán • Cornellana The Cachapoal valley is located in the central region of Chile, a two and a half hour drive from Santiago, Chile’s capital city.

Interesting, peculiar nose. Green leaves, tomato plants, quite dominant hints of wood. Rich on the palate, nice and complex. Concentrated, dark fruit - mainly blackberry.
