The perfect alternative to a very expensive Champagne, it brings almost the same hedonist satisfaction to those who like to open their meal with a light, crispy and refreshing good quality spumante. Its pleasant acidity perfectly backs a fine structure on a pleasant citrus nose with hints of hay, peaches and grapefruit, nice. The nice, persisting fizziness, on well integrated alcohol recommends this 100% Prosecco as a fine appetizer, a perfect math for delicate pastry and Caviar tartlets. Here's a hint: I like to serve it, well chilled, on fruity desserts also, its dryness sustaining the sweetness of a well-made fruit salad or fruit tart. Enjoy!    (hide)
