Villa Antinori on Snooth

When Antinori bought the Badia estate near Tignanello and invested vast sums of money we'd have bet our DRC the result would be aimed squarely at Bob Gambero Parker. Not so. It's old school class.

Dark & inviting. A big, bold wine! Deep, fruity flavor. "Plush" as used in other reviews is quite correct. Highly enjoyable with our home made sauce and pasta. I felt it was an excellent Italian for the price.

the year of the vintage in 2003 isn't described anywhere. in my opinion, this is the Antinori Peppoli at its best. flavour: earthy, mature. drink date: not later then 2010. smooth rank: all points from germany
