Since 1974 certain Vietti wines have been dressed with specially-designed original works (lithographs, xylographies, etchings, silkscreens, linocuts) inspired by the wine of that particular vintage. The print run is the same as the number of bottles produced, and the first hundred labels are signed by the Artist. Each work is only used once, just for the wine of that vintage. Since the presentation of the 1982 Barolo Villero in 1988, the artist’s labels have been dedicated exclusively to the wines grown on this great vineyard. – Description from JelaDragoljevic

  • Moscato Vietti /11 /11 Vieti Moscato 2009

This wine is light and fruity. It's almost like champagne but not as dry. It's a great informal easy to drink wine. If we're going to a BBQ or a picnic, we always grab a couple of bottles. You also can't beat the price. This wine should be served chilled. Read More

  • Vietti Nebbiolo Barolo Lazzarito 1996

The 1996 Vietti Barolo Rocche gave a classic Barolo performance on this evening. The nose was fresh yet powerful all at once with a cool refreshing quality, as floral notes of roses, then tar and leather, red fruits and dusty ash came forward. The palate showed well-defined red fruits against a stiff structure of silky tannin and acid, as flavor... Read More

  • Vietti Barbera Barbera d'Alba Scarrone 2005

This wine is always a treat and didnt skip a beat on this night. I find the Vietti Scarrone, V.V. to be one of the few old vine Barberas that I really enjoy. The color was a deep, dark red with a nose of dusty raspberry, earth, undergrowth and just a touch of vanilla. On the palate this wine came across as mouth filling with candied red fruit ye... • Vietti Barolo Rocche 2006

Nice nose, floral fresh rose, touch of herbs, soil, a bit of sour meat, poppy seeds, rich and supple, nice purity to the fruit but its a bit dull feeling, liquory, savory and deep, needs some time to pull itself together, lovely crisp tannins, nice fruit sweetness edge, good finish, nice power, should develop some elegance Read More

  • Barolo Brunate Vietti 2006

Deep fruit, touch of mineral, licorice, anise seed, intense liquory wild raspberry fruit, touch of graham cracker, a touch lean on entry, clear and cool, nice taut texture, dark fruit, touch of bitter seeds, a bit simple bit with good power on the back end, packed with tannin on the finish which shows some mint and cherry skin Read More
