The vineyard is located in the northern plateau of the Iberian Peninsula on the banks of the Duero River. These lands have been cultivated for more than 2,000 years and today, the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin is one of the most prestigious in Spain. The winery was founded in 1997 with wine produced from that year onwards. Bodegas Valdubon is located on the outskirts of Milagros, a village near Aranda del Duero (Burgos). It falls under the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero. Wines from Ribera del Duero are renowned as being bold and powerful. The ageing in barrel provides elegance and balance. They are characterised by their cherry colour and noted for being well-bodied wines with a balanced acidity. The tannins and structure of these wines make them ideal for ageing in cask. – Description from dvoristanac
