Tommasi Viticoltori(Tommasi vintners) is a family viticulture firm founded in 1902. It is situated in Pedemonte, in the heart of Valpolicella Classico region, a small piece of land in the North - West part of Verona, between the plain and Lessini mountains and near Garda lake. From grandfather Giacomo’s tiny vineyard, the Tommasi estate has grown steadily over the course of years and today extends over 135 hectares of vineyard in the DOC wine areas of Verona and 66 hectares in Maremma, south of Tuscany. – Description from JelaDragoljevic

  • Tommasi Recioto Della Valpolicella Fiorato 2010

    Snoothrank:

Gorgeous on the nose full of notes of violets, spicy and jammy with wild berry, prune, salted plum and mulberry fruit. Creamy and quite sweet in the mouth, this remains clear on the palate with lovely balsamic toned prune, dried cherry and wild strawberry jam flavors that leads to a modest finish with some peppery spicy nuances. This is soft an... Read More

  • Tommasi Amarone Della Valpolicella 2009

    Snoothrank:

Lots of licorice, dried fruit, and candied fruit aromas greet the nose along with a touch of VA adding some lift. Rather rich up front, then turning supple and very smooth on the palate with enough RS to lend the dried cherry, dried strawberry and plum flavors a noticeable sweetness. The acidity here is well integrated, some tannins emerge on th... Read More
