Its hard to please three people with different tastes.Agree. It's harder than hard. Thanks for the report, Red. I have to compliment you on your ability to analyze and report your experiences. Excellent. The fact of the matter is that Americans like a bit of sugar in their wine. One of the reasons that I have, pretty much, given up on Califor... Read More
Welcome Lorelei. I would think that you can find Chianti's in that price range. One that another Snooth Forum regular, Richard Foxall, has been enjoying lately is from Castello di Monsanto (not the chemical company). I had one of the Monsanto Chiantis a few years ago, and based on that experience, I will second Fox's recommendation.Living in ... Read More

I unfortunately cannot afford to spend a big lot on purchases and tend to stick to those priced from $20 to $30 Canadian. Although Canadian, I haven... Read More

I am finally catching up on compiliing my notes and reviews from this whole year. A good friend of mine asked me, as he picked me up on New Year's Eve from the airport as I was returning from Napa, if I wanted to go to Sonoma in February. He was planning to kidnap his girlfriend (another good friend of mine) for her birthday over Valentine's w... Read More
"-- The 2007 ----- is 100% Tinto Fino aged for 24 months in French and American barriques. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it emits a super-fragrant bouquet of pain grille, pencil lead, Asian spices, black cherry, and blackberry. Dense and opulent on the palate, this loaded effort is succulent, pure, and exceptionally lengthy. It will evolv... Read More

The wife & I are making our first trip to Napa for a two day excursion. We have been doing a lot of research, including reading up on the previous forum posts, thanks Honda John for your informative essay! We're a little worried about going during the summer, and on a weekend, but it was the only time it worked for us, especially since we live... Read More
