World’s End is the culmination of over 15 years of winemaking in Saint Emilion, Bordeaux and the Barossa Valley, Australia by Jonathan Maltus and his team. To access that information please check out The 2008 vintage marks the beginning of what we hope will become a love affair between our French-inspired winemaking and viticultural approach and the beautiful landscape and terroir of the Napa Valley. Close cropping, double-sorting, lees in suspension, will be part of the norm. – Description from JelaDragoljevic

Great points on both fronts. I published the group's travel log today which should round out our trip quite nicely. One stop that I really wanted to mention but didn't:  Oak Farm Vineyards. This place deserves a s... Read More

This was a lovely wine. On the nose it wasnt too strong. Slight hint of jam, a subtle sweetness which carried through on the palate. I wasnt aware of what I had put in my mouth at the first sip but I knew it was good, the decadence is one that needs to be experienced. Lovely ruby red colour, mild tannins and a pleasant mouthfeel. Starts off subt... Read More

  • I had a bottle of the 2006 Explorateur Shriaz. I paid $30 at Total Wines and the person said this taste like at $60 bottle. He was wrong. I've had $125 bottles and they weren't close to how smooth this was. I'm going to order a case!
