The Bitch

+ Add a winery image

Bitch is the wine with the cheeky name and the sassy pink label produced by R Wines. This was originally a partnership between Australian winemaker Dan Phillips and California importer Chris Ringland, who imported it through Grateful Palates. As of press time, the partnership appears to have dissolved and Ringland is now producing the wine in Aragon, Spain. Bitch wines are available in red Grenache and “Bubbly,” a Chardonnay sparkling blend.

  • Royal Bitch Merlot 2008

    Snoothrank:

I received a bottle of Royal Bitch Merlot 2008 as a gift in '10' & cracked it open in early '11'. The flavor was assertive with most notably prune & olive flavors. This combination of flavors was a difficult match. I try to find a positive in all wines experienced, but after a period of time & several tastes of this wine; we decided that it ... Read More

I LOVE this wine! My sister bought me a bottle for my Birthday...first of all, I am NOT picky about wine....I had the biggest laugh at the label and immediately opened it (I'm far from a bitch, but my sis couldn't resist!) The taste, to me anyways, is delicious! It's not too dry, not too sweet....1 bottle just wasn't enough! I see the rating... Read More

  • Royal Bitch Chardonnay Reserve NV

    Snoothrank:

I have to agree with the title of this wine, This is a smooth and fruity chardonnay. I can honestly say if this drink was a women it would in fact be a Sweet Bitch. The nose is sweet and a little sour, as I can smell (and taste) some green apples and a little bit of gala apples in it. The alcohol is noticeable in both the nose and the taste, no... Read More
