Excellent. Great mouth feel. Red fruit with bubble gum wrapped around them.

Perfectly balanced wine with great structure, and a cool blend of anise, cocoa and fruit. The tannins are supple. Great for sipping, but obviously ideal for food. We had it with a rich boeuf a la bourgignon (I know, odd)....

Well made with nice ripe fruit and good Rhone herb undercore but not terribly complex and way overpriced compared to other '05 CdP of similar quality. Not in the Pegau, Beaucastel, Clos des Papes circle although the price is.
