At Strewn, we're committed to making premium VQA wines from grapes grown in the Niagara peninsula. In addition, we offer an informative and enjoyable winery experience at our beautiful property at 1339 Lakeshore Road, just outside the Old Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. These include special structured tastings of our ultra premium wines each month at the "Terroir" tasting bar, monthly seminars, special events and Winemaker's Dinners at Terroir La Cachette, the restaurant at Strewn. Central to our philosophy at Strewn is the belief that all great wine starts in the vineyard and we work with nature to produce the absolutely best wine possible. We believe in living the "good life" and savouring life's moments with family and friends. Strewn's winemaking style - with its dedication to expressing the best Niagara's terroir has to offer - is best described as elegantly crafted wines to be enjoyed on their own or in their natural place at your dinner table. • When I think of Sonoma, my thoughts naturally drift off to the great wines that so many of us enjoy. Pinot Noir has become somewhat of a poster child for Sonoma’s red wines -- just think of the Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley and the first thought that comes to mind may very well be Pinot. (If it’s not, you may want to check out my previou... Read More

  • Strewn Chardonnay Barrel-Aged V.Q.A. White Still Table Wine Strewn Inc NV

Not sure if this is the right listing... I am reviewing Strewn Chardonnay Barrel-Aged 2007. Oaked chardonnays can be a risky venture. Strewn does a beautiful job of crafting a bold flavour without overwhelming the grape. I will be buying this again. Read More

  • Strewn Cabernet/Merlot Two Vines Estate 2003

Blueberry and plum on the nose with accompanying black currant and blackberries .On the palate the higher tannins and strong cabernet flavours are mellowed just slightly by the merlot, making this wine satisfyingly heavy without beating your tastebuds to a pulp.
