  • In 1991 the popularity of Zinfandel wasn’t a speck of what it is today. Wine lovers either didn’t know what it was or didn’t understand the grape. Therefore, in 1991, a passionate group of true believers formed ZAP, Zinfandel Advocates and Producers. This group is made up of winemakers and Zinfandel lovers alike. Their mission is to educate the ... Read More

  • Many wineries are distinctly associated with a single appellation or growing region. • Bedrock Wine Co. Cuvee Karatas Sonoma County 2012

    Snoothrank:

Pretty, clear yellow color. Somewhat fruity and floral nose. Similarly, fruity on the tonguegreen apple, kiwi. Sufficiently acid to make this a refreshing wine. Were having grilled trout for dinner tonight. I think a fruit-based side might make this wine sing. Read More

  • Bedrock Sonoma County Cuvee Karatas 2012

    Snoothrank:

Really nice white Bordeaux blend of Semillon and Sauv Blanc. This has a deep yellow color in the glass. There's a nice hit of butterscotch and caramel on the nose. In the mouth there is lush notes of ripe pear, honeysuckle, a bit of that butterscotch, nice acidity, a nice mouth coating affect and a medium finish. Read More
