When our parents Bill Blosser and Susan Sokol Blosser planted their first vines in 1971, they needed all of their youthful self-confidence, energy and determination to make their way because there was no wine industry in Oregon. Today, with over 300 wineries and more than 13,000 acres of vineyards, Oregon wines are available throughout the world. Sokol Blosser has survived, grown and prospered as a family-owned and run operation, and we are proud to have been part of developing and shaping Oregon's now prominent wine industry. We strive to create wines of world class quality that are produced sustainably, mindful of the environment and your health, and that express the distinctive flavors of our hillside vineyards. Sokol Blosser wines reflect who we are – our values and our sense of place. We hope you enjoy them. – Description from dvoristanac

  • Sokol Blosser Willamette Valley Pinot Gris Case Of 2011

    Snoothrank:

A little funky on the nose with a nutty, earthy edge to the aromas of river stones, dried herb and dried apple cores. This is supple and a little creamy in the mouth but not too creamy to lose focus. Its really got as wonderfully seductive texture and offers citrus and green apple flavors with hints of pineapple and passionfruit on the backend. ... Read More

  • We're heading back to (my favorite wine region) Russian River the first weekend in October and are looking for advice on what to do and what to expect.  We've been to RRV several times but only during the off season.  Is there anything special we should do at this time of year, and conversely, is there anything we should avoid?
