Maison Simonnet-Febvre produces and vinifies grapes from the four "Appellation d'Origine Controlee" abbreviated either as AOC or AC: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru and Chablis Grand Cru. The Vineyards of Chablis are world-renowned for their white wines of fresh, mineraly almost steely bouquet, with an ample, generous and zesty fruit palate.The Vineyards are exclusively planted with the Chardonnay varietal, on unique limestone soils, rich in marine fossil deposits from the Jurasic era. Open public Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 12.30am and from 2pm to 6.30pm.

  • I love this wine. For $10 you can't go wrong, and I think you'd have to spend much more to get a better wine. My fellow tasters and I like the balance of acidity, minerality and fruits. I agree with Greg's eloquent assessment below.
