The finish is still tight and the wine will age over time." ----- Thats 2 5's - and I've given less than 10 5's out of over 1,200 wines. My best value pick was Signorello Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 - which at $50 was as good as many of the $80 wines. My wine of the event was the Blackbird, but thats mainly merlot, so I'll move on, given the title of this thread... 4.5 /    (hide)

  Great oaky start. Rich and viscous with lots of peach and red apple. Very fruity and this persists on a long finish.

Read morethis wine is out of this planet good, especially on a value basis. i bought a half case 5 years ago for $20 a bottle and every single bottle was unbelievable. this wine plays like a napa cult cab in $20 drag clothing. i remember every night that i opened one of these bottles and i can't say i usually remember much. huge blackberry & bramble notes. toffee, coffee, dark chocolate, just absolute heaven in a glass. if you ever see this wine available, let me know first then just try to outbid me.    (hide)
