  • I love Amarone but have never tried Dal Forno or Quintarelli. Not a wine for the meek!  I believe the Italians consider it a wine of meditation.

  • Romano Dal Forno Valpolicella Superiore 2000

    Snoothrank:

A Valpolicella that can be compared in concentration to Amarones.. BUT this is THE BEST one can get.. Apart from his Amarone (of course!) Velvety tannins, enormous concentration in fruit. Long-long-long lasting taste.. Juicy, tasty, fruity. EXCELLENT!
