Italy's Trentino region is home to some of the world's most celebrated sparkling wines. The unique microclimate between Lake Garda and the Italian Alps is where vineyards are planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. These noble varietals, nurtured carefully throughout the year and hand selected at harvest, are the foundation of Rotari's refined Talento sparkling wines. The search for the highest quality fruit begins in the steeply terraced vineyards (ranging 950 to 2,500 ft. above sea level) of Trentino Denomination of Controlled Origin (DOC) zone. Produced using the Talento metodo classico, each wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and is aged on its lees for a minimum of 24 months. Rotari offers a full line of complex and distinctive sparklers with a fine perlage that showcases the unique aromas of the appellation. Ideal as an aperitif, these wines are also sophisticated accompaniments to international cuisine.

Used the bottle to toast all mothers on Mother's Day 2013. Also toasted my need to buy more bubbly because this was the last of the sparkling wine in my modest cellar/collection. The contents of the bottle proved adequate for the occasion to my nose and taste buds. Good value and I will look for it again. Read More

Fun, zesty nose of flowers and fresh tropical fruits. Light and fun with nice flavor. Crisp, with the creaminess building. Some salinity on the mid palate. Overall, refreshing and nice. Read More

Very pretty on the nose, with a gentle base of floral, acacia, some gum and a hint of chalk, over spiced apple fruit that really pops on the palate. This is very well balanced, with a nice edge of spice, just a hint of yeast to add complexity and pure apple, yellow plum and light spice coming together nicely in the mouth. The finish is a touch s... Read More

Easy to drink brut for any special occasion. Slow start but packed with flavor that bounces of the tongue. The finish lingers and invites you to get another sip. Wonderfully made and a great price! Read More

Very pale, copper yellow with thin sporadic bubbles throughout. Apple, peach, apricot, and almond on the nose. A persistent effervescence creates a tingly mouthfeel, like Pop Rocks: you continue to feel the prickly of tiny bubbles of carbonation long after you think it's finished and swallow. Light/medium bodied with crisp acidity and apple, apr... Read More
