Riunite

In 1950, nine wine producers from the agriculturally rich Emilia-Romagna region "united" to form the Cantine Cooperative Riunite. The new association enabled the winemakers to purchase better equipment, share new technical ideas and technologies, and improve both the production and the quality of their wines. This has worked out very well for the winemakers and consumers. Today, over 50 years later, there are 1,200 dedicated growers who grow grapes for the production of Riunite-the world's leading wine exporter in the world! Vinification (the act of making grape juice into wine) takes place under the watchful eye of Master Oenologist Vanni Lottici and his staff of experts. In June 1993, Riunite was the first winery in Europe to be granted "Certified Quality" status. These standards guarantee consumers that their purchases have been rigorously controlled at every stage of production: from the moment the grapes arrive at the winery until the bottles are shipped. – Description from JelaDragoljevic

  • Riunite d'Oro Moscato Trebbiano NV

    Snoothrank:

Jammy on the nose with hints of apricot preserves and preserved lemons over a gentle floral base. This is remarkably smooth and easy to drink with soft bubbles that lead to a nice peach and floral mid-palate framed with a hint of lime oil. There's a bit more orange toned fruit on the back end and through the rather long finish. A little more oom... Read More

  • Riunite Movendo Moscato NV

    Snoothrank:

This wine is one of my first. The only others I've tried were "higher end" wines and tasted bad compared to this. I'm not a wine expert by any means but just enjoy this wine for its subtle sweetness and little bit of dryness. Read More

People pleasing Riunite makes everyone smile and nod at the dinner table once again. Sweet, wet, with a hint of tart, this blend has a little something for everyone and pairs with both light or bold meals. Looks and smells as one could hope from a luscious Italian wine. I'm a fan, though this frequently purchased standby isn't quite unique en... Read More
