Elegant, fruity aromas of glazed pear, fresh apple and vanilla cream on the nose. This exhibits a truly fresh palate of lively stone fruit, pierced with zesty acidity and a pile of spice - and wrapped in a creamy layer of vanilla bean, rolled oats and brioche. Read More
Have started to see the appeal in Champagne and other quality sparkling wine more and more lately. It's a festive drink with high drinkability and pleasure, provided you are drinking within the wine's general drinking window. I can remember my eldery godmother saying on one of our visits that she couldn't drink wine anymore due to her stomach is... Read More

Nice enough sangiovese from Remy of McMinnville, Oregon. Fairly fruit forward and a bit tart on the tongue. Loads of bright red cherry, a hint of lime and mouth watering acidity. There isn't a lot of body here and the tannins are fairly light weight but this is a fun mid-week drinker, might be a bit on the pricey side. Read More

I enjoyed the Imagery (Remy in WA grows one, not as good), but the best Lagrein is from Sudtiro... Read More
Mighty fine red Italian blend from Remy Wines. This is a mix of Sangiovese, Barbera and Dolcetto. A very expressive nose of stewed plums and blackberries. The layers of black and blue fruits are very well balanced against fine grained tannins, a bit of pepper and some mouth watering acidity.Picked this up at the winery during our 4th of July vis... Sorry, haven't been on here for a couple days so I thought it was time to catch up. Woke up Saturday morning and found ourselves in Marseilles where we're starting our next great wine adventure. First day was spent trying to get rid of the jet lag cobwebs so we took it easy, checked out Aix-en-Provence and then headed to the villa in St. Remy. D... Read More
There are so many incredible wineries to visit in McMinnville; especially, urban wineries: Remy Wines (read my Snooth article on Remy wines called "Robust Italian Varietals in the Heart of Oregon's Pinot Noir Country"), Eyrie Vineyards, Robert Brittan, R. Stuart & Co., Dominio IV, Matello and Grochau Wines are all located in the historic Granary... Read More
