Red Diamond is a brand of wines produced in Washington State since 2003. The value driven wines were initially only marketed to restaurants, but were such a success, that they expanded to retail offerings in 2004. The wines are available in Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Chardonnay. They continue to be some of the most popular American restaurant and bar wines, offering good bang-for-buck quality.

Red Diamond on Snooth

  • Hey, I hear that VTs are coming back, with one scheduled for March!  Not to steal the thunder, so I won't leak what the region/grape is going to be (regulars, watch your mail boxes if you live in the US), but it's going to be good if my inbox is any indication.I'm opening up the floor to ask the question, "Who do you think will be the host?"  Ma... • Red Diamond Red Diamond Temperamental NV

    Snoothrank:

I've always loved Red Diamond Cabernet, an entrance Cabernet. This is a blend flavors of blueberry, dark fruit and chocolate. It's sweet like a Spanish red blend but it's absolutely a nice wine for red meats. Overall for the price, it's certainly acceptable for your average night's glass of red with a burger or steak/ribs Read More

  • Snowman, welcome to Snooth.  We look forward to hearing about your wine adventures. As you might expect, the question you have asked does not have a simple answer.  Let me just ramble (sounds better than pontificate) here a bit.Wines are different.  That alone eliminates the opportunity for a simple one-size-fits-all answer.  As friend DVogler st... • I have been an enjoying  wine for many years now, and do not even pretend to know about wines. I just know what I like and always experiment with something new. However I was hoping that maybe I could get some expert advice on this site, since viewing the site it appears that there are many knowledgeable readers here. As I have  said earlier , I... • Hey everyone, what are some of your favorite 'everyday' or M-F types of wines to accompany a regular dinner?  I personally have enjoyed the Montoya Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa, and I usually pick it up from Total Wines out here in Virginia.  This is one of those fruit-forward cabs that isn't too complex for me to appreciate, and it usually cost... • Red Diamond Cabernet 2011

    Snoothrank:

This was fruit forward with quite a bit of red cherry. Not dry or tannic, but the absence of that seemed a bit uncharacteristic for a cab. Seems like it could be all things to all people. Good price point. Read More
