  • Kudos to all regarding your remarkably priced & delicious 2012 Cab! Interesting that in your own label description of one of my regular T.Joes purchases -that I always considered a superb value (but it seems to have risen to new heights!) you do not mention in your otherwise aptly worded description-its now more distinct (or so I thought?) 'gout...

  • Perhaps we could use a place to share recent purchases...Here are some '12 Burlotto Langhe Nebbiolo, which came highly recommended from a trusted friend who just got back from a month in Italy. I'm not seeing many available in the States quite yet, but was happy to find these locally. Read More

  • I have been drinking your Merlot for years. Now all of a sudden no more Merlot! I have to settle for Pinot. Are you going to start processing Merlot again? John king kingjek@att.net

  • I ran up to Napa for a few days to get away and taste some wines from places I'd never been (most of them).  I went during BottleRock Napa, but alas, didn't partake in an y of those festivities.  Some great finds, so I have listed/linked any of the wines I rated over 90 points, should anyone have interest, or their own thoughts on the wines. Wit... • My wife and I like to begin with a sensational wine, then follow with a lower cost wine since it is like the law of diminishing returns if you continue to drink too much of a high quality wine. So far Raymond Hill wines are the most perfect wine to follow with. They are not like most "3 Buck Chuck" wines which are only fit for cooking.

  • Had one of those once in a lifetime days betting the ponies today.  With the winnings, i'm probably going to be budgeting up to $1500.00 on some more expensive wines I haven't been able to afford in the $80-$200 range.  Any suggestions?  I favor a right-bank bordeaux style for reds but also enjoy a medium bodied cabernet style, along with rhone ... • Hi Everyone,New here so be gentle. Ever since I've heard about "Mega-purple" I've tried to do as much research on the topic as possible. Most people on the retail side either don't know about it or claim ignorance. Once I picked up on what I perceived to be M/P I've had a hard time getting passed it. Michael and David's 7 Deadly Zins seems to be... Read More
