Ramon Roqueta is a wine company and estate that has been in the Roqueta family for centuries, in Catalonia, Spain. Their business began in 1898 when Ramón Roqueta Torrentó began selling wine from the estate at a shop in Manresa. By the 1920s, sales took off and the wines were available for export to France and eventually other countries. By the 1960s, the company began modernizing and bottling their own wine. Today, the company is still family owned and run, sourcing grapes from different cooperatives and bottling different brands as well as their own. Their goal is to stay true to local winemaking traditions while using the most up-to-date production methods. The brands included in their portfolio are Bodegas Abadal, Lafou Celler, Pago de Montal and Bodegas 1898.
