Quivira Vineyards on Snooth

Grenache, Zin, Mourvedre, Syrah - Bright, tart, lots of flavor, sparkles in the mouth. Too good.

Quivira Vineyards 'Steelhead Red' 2004

Starting at $17.00 Snoothrank: 3.5/5

I'm lukewarm on this one. I agree with the tartness comment posted on one of the other reviews. I also thought it was thin.

Quivira Zinfandel Steelhead Red Dry Creek Valley 2006

Starting at $12.99 Snoothrank: 2.5/5

Great buy from Trader Joe's at only $8.99. Really classic Zin taste. I normally like a Zin at 15% but this 13.8% is great!

A friend and I decided to see wine country while it was just about harvest season, so there'd be grapes on the vines. She had been once before on a planned tour of about four places all in south Sonoma. We opted this...

Rather subdued on the nose with a smoky, stemmy quality and an earthy core to the waxy fruit that hints at melon and white cherry. There’s also a touch of a roast meat quality to the nose. Chunky fruit in the mouth with...

Quivira Sauvignon Blanc Fig Tree Vineyard 2007

Starting at $16.79 Snoothrank: 4/5

A WOW zin that is full of dark fruit, bramble, earth and spice. Killer!

Sonoma county ZIN! Great structure. Opens up nicely after about an hour or so.
