I have not had Dao wine for some time, and this mid-rank number from Quinta do Correio has bracing acidity on the palate with flavours of cranberry and wild red huckleberry. Bought a case 5 years ago and haven't opened a bottle in at least 2. Color is dark burgandy red..still very dense. Nose is reminescent of an old port (grapes are all port grapes for goodness) with a hint of fruit and acidity.
