Quady Winery founded in 1975 by Andrew and Laurel Quady produces dessert and aperitif wines. Essensia and Elysium are lightly fortified dessert wines from the Orange and Black Muscat varieties. Electra and Red Electra, only 4 and 5% alcohol, are refreshing “picnic wines”. Starboard is a “port”, made in two styles: vintage and vintage character. Vya is a vermouth aperitif and Deviation an aromatized after dinner wine. Palomino Fino is an amontillado “sherry” type.

  • Quady Essensia 375 2007

    Snoothrank:

Looking for a good dessert wine for the holidays, my local wine shop suggested the Essensia. Wine Enthusiast gave it a 92 so it couldn't be too bad. I was afraid it would be too sweet, but was very suprised when we tried it. It was fantastic!!! It paired very well with our pumpkin pie. After some research on their website, i noticed their D... It pairs well with butternut s... Read More

Spicy and complex, but light at the same time. I'm sure it would make an excellent martini, and I keep meaning to mix it with gin, but so far it's been too good on its own. Read More
