Geographical location : 3 km from Pezenas (Herault), on the slopes leading to the first ridges of the Cévennes Mountains. Appellation : Coteaux du Languedoc. Surface Area : 32 ha in production. Orientation : All slopes have south or south-westerly exposure. Soil : Arid and stony, limestone and calcareous clay of the Villafranchien, basalt, clayey sandstone (sandstones and quartz pebbles), silicious clay(marble). Specificity : Very parcelled out vineyard (43 pieces), with vines sometimes far from the estate, as only the best soils were retained. – Description from mriskic

    Tasted March 2008: Very good wine. Huge colour with some ripening at the edge, rich legs. Extraordinary bouquet that needs extensive aeration, rich and refined at the same time. In the mouth slightly too sweet but marvelously fruity and ripe and with a lovely mouth feel. Still quite oaky, but not obtrusive. A noble Languedoc wine. Best before 2011. Read More
