In 2003, Andrew Browne launched Precept Wine Brands. He re-joined his partner Dan Baty from Corus Brands (Columbia Winery, Covey Run, Alice White), hired a great team of three and together they sought out to revolutionize the wine industry. The company's business plan reached out to the everyday wine consumer, offering modestly priced, quality wines. Out of the last 150 wineries to have been bonded in Washington, Precept was the first to focus completely on producing and selling wines for $15 or less. Since then, Precept has built a portfolio of quality value wines from Washington State, Oregon, Idaho and abroad that appeal to key consumer and trade audiences alike. – Description from AlexJelena

  • Bridgeman Columbia Valley Merlot 2011

    Snoothrank:

Pretty standard Merlot. Strong bouquet of violet and ripe red fruit. Simple and juicy on the palate with a bit of overpowering alcohol. Medium-weight mouthfeel, tastes of dark red berry and baking spice. Tannins are rough on the finish. 84pts. Read More

    Snoothrank:

I usually don't drink red wine because I tend to like sweeter, lighter wines. But this one was sweet enough without a bitter taste. I would drink it again! Read More

I love sweet red wines. My previous favorite was Jam Jar. B Lovely has a stronger tanin after taste, which I prefer over the sweet almost bitter after taste of Jam Jar. I will definitely buy this wine again and agian. Read More
