Potel-Aviron on Snooth

July 2008

I dont know that specific wine, but do you mean Morgon, the village? I had a Morgon wine once: http://www.snooth.com/wine/potel-aviron-morgon-vieilles-vignes-cote-du-py-2004/ I remember it being more meaty and fuller...

A rather musty wine to my palate...bramble, mineral with some fruit...

My favorite of the cru Beaujolais tasted during the cruise. Bigger, more body with an earthyness (with a hint of mushrooms), with black fruit and spice.

Potel-Aviron Morgon Vieilles Vignes Cote du Py 2004

Starting at $16.69 Snoothrank: 2.5/5

Fuller bodied than most Beaujolais. Its very mineral with good tannins. OK Tasted as part of a Beaujolais Boat Cruise

Potel-Aviron Morgon Vieilles Vignes Cote du Py 2004

Starting at $16.69 Snoothrank: 2.5/5

Strong notes of earthiness, some decent fruit (bramble fruits). Good finish. Still, i only gave it a2, as it wasnt really for me. Not exactly sure why. Tasted as part of a Beaujolais Boat Cruise
