Smokey yet high toned and perfumed with layered notes of cherry pits, dried flowers and spice tones. Bright and fresh in the mouth with lively acids in a somewhat easy style yet with wonderfully pure and fresh fruit. Really lovely integration here and the wood is offering only a spice note with tannins that are extremely well managed. 91pts Read More

A bit reticent on the nose and showing some new wood but still lean and attractively focused. In the mouth this is very polished and tight with nice fruit but the tannins really clamp down cutting the finish short and leaving you with a bit of wood spice finale. 88pts Read More

Oaky spicy but good depth of flavor... Read More

AWE blind tasting - a bit jammy and fudgy but with lovely nuanced peach, thistle, clay, and briary cherry fruit, smooth polished entry, clean and precise wild cherry fruit, a lovely note of old wood and almost popcorn, nice and lean with ranier cherry fruit and dusty earth note, a hint of licorice with some very fresh floral and bitter herb note...
