Pierre Gimonnet & Fils
Since 1750, the history of the Gimonnet family is indissociable of the one of the Champagne vineyard. From the beginning, the Gimonnet family are winegrowers that go about their harvest by the rules of Champagne trade. Anecdotes, legends and experiences enrich themselves with the passing of the centuries and transmit themselves generation to generation. The know-how and the love of the vine also play an important part in this process.
It was during the period between the two great wars that the wine-making activity of the house really began. Around 1935, Pierre drew up the first tariffs. The fresh grape juice cohabitated with the "quiet native wine of Champagne" and a "Champagne Cru" … Practically at the same price.
