This is my first Peter Franus wine and was a great experience. The wine won Best Zinfandel of 2008 in Wine and Spirits. Blueberry and lots of Indian spices on the nose. Dark ruby in color. Beautiful textured blueberry fruits thickly coated with a load of spices and smoky tobacco. Spicy McSpicy here. Great finish. Great wine. Read More

A bit high in alcohol but very well r... Read More

Dark color in the glass with aromas of black currants, beef broth, cinnamon, and fresh cracked black pepper. The palate shows brambly wild berries, clove and distinct black pepper in the back of the mouth with a firm tannin and acid structure. The finish is very long and enjoyable Read More
