The Thomas Hyland range of wines by Penfolds is named for the Victorian Civil Service officer who married Georgina, daughter of Australian winery founders Mary and Christopher Penfold. Thomas Francis Hyland took over the winery in 1895 after their passing and brought it to new levels of commercial success. The wines are mostly produced in the Adelaide region of Australia, where the winery was first established in 1844.

  • Penfolds Thomas Hyland Adelaide Riesling Australia 2008

This Riesling lands nicely on the dry side. Balanced and very enjoyable, with herbal and citrus flare on the nose and palate. Lemon and lime, along with peach and mango, make for unique palate, especially when combined with mineral and vegetable sub-text. Read More
