  • I used to live in Virginia and go back twice a year to visit my daughter (in Washington DC) and to go to wineries-particularly those that have Norton, Petit Verdot and Viogner. Pearmund is in my top 3 VA wineries- their Pettit Verdot is always the best , all their wines are excellent and the people are truly into making good wine.

  • This place has a LOT of fans in the Virginia Group- and is located near some other top-notch examples of Virginia vino. I've heard nothing but good about Pearmund, though I've yet to be able to visit the place myself... putting it high on the list for the next trip.

  • Pearmund Cellars Red Bordeaux Blend Ameritage 2004

Pearmund's Ameritage is the first vertical I collected in my cellar. I first tasted it in 2002 and enjoyed it then even though at that time, the tannins were very harsh. In 2009, I realized that I had the vertical collection and wrote Chris Pearmund to ask about how long to keep it. He suggested that I get through the 2005 by the end of the year... Read More

  • Would love to chat with new people about wines from different areas.  I'm from Virginia and our region is lately becoming very adept at producing great wine.  I live in the midst of a large cluster of vineyards and used to work at Sugarleaf (GREAT wine there)  and I really respect the process and hard work it takes to produce a great wine.  Love... • Pearmund Cellars Chardonnay Fauquier County 2006

We are lucky enough to live very close to Pearmund Cellars and have had their Chardonnay on many occasions. I think it tastes very much like the Chateau St. Jean Chardonnay which we like very much. This is definitely a wine and a winery to watch! Read More
