Peaks of Otter Winery

Located at the foot of the Peaks of Otter and near the National D-day Memorial. Our ancestors settled in the area in 1750s and we opened as Virginia’s 50th farm winery in 1995. Although we grow many fruits for our wine, apples are our main crop. We make over 25 different wines that remind you of grandma’s wines. These wines are excellent with snacks, after dinner or just sipping. “Chili Dog”, an apple pepper wine makes a great party wine; and will bite you. A truly unique wine that touches not only your soul but fires up your taste buds. Our wines are appropriate for all occasions from the sharpness of the crabapple to the mellow taste of the pear, these wines are certain to appeal to all tastes.
